ONE WEBSITE / ONE DAY

How it works

Temporary homepage ownership lasts 24 hours. You can publish art, a message or an advertising takeover. No audience or return is guaranteed.

1. Every day (00:00–24:00 UTC) one winner owns this entire website. Today's page belongs to the winner of yesterday's auction; today, the auction for tomorrow is running.
2. The auction for a day closes exactly when that day starts (00:00 UTC). The close never moves: the last valid bid is one your card authorizes before the close (server time). Bids must beat the highest bid by at least $1 or 5%, whichever is more. The current minimum is $10.
3. Your card is authorized when you bid and charged only if you win. Outbid authorizations are released immediately. Nobody else is ever charged.
4. When you bid you write a short page (title, message, optional link, background). It stays private. If you win, it is published automatically when your day starts, and you can change it during your day.
5. Pages are built from text, colors, type, an image, a video and one link — never code. Every page is reviewed before it goes live.
6. Every owned day stays in the public archive, with how the page changed during the day.
